After nine years of events for special needs youth in Japan, our organization is bringing this experience stateside for the second time! Thanks to our generous sponsors and the collaboration of amazing local organizations we are happy to be able to provide this unique opportunity to Utah’s special needs youth.
Patterned after a traditional beauty pageant, participants walk the runway and take center stage. Glammed by their own hair and makeup artist, participants feel their best and shine as the audience cheers them on. After a quick outfit change participants take the stage again dressed up in their best and we get to know them a little more in the question-and-answer portion. Each participant is asked, “What is your dream?” You will be impressed by their aspirations and want to cheer them on!!
The awards ceremony is where we find out what the judges thought. Who will win ‘Best Smile’, ‘Most Fashionable’, or ‘Mr. Handsome’ at the end of the night? At Special Beauty, everyone is a winner. No one leaves empty handed. Through our experience, we have seen miracles happen every time. We believe that everyone is beautiful, everyone has the right to feel special, and that when given the opportunity everyone will shine.

Once confirmation is received, we will send you our Venmo info for you to make your registration fee ($30 to cover t-shirt, lunch, gift bag, and much more!)
- Wait for your official confirmation and participant letter
- See you on March 15th!
